In Rainbows

Just how many more albums can Radiohead make of such quality? Other bands become very samey, or try to change and fail. Somehow Radiohead manage to change whilst staying the same and keep producing top quality albums. This album just gets better and better with each listen, and in my view a Radiohead classic already.

The Very Best of Nina Simone Vol.1

The Very Best of Nina Simone Vol.1

Keeps-you-smiling music! One of the best voices that ever graced the music business. My 17 year old thinks she's as amazing as I do.

Radio 1's Live Lounge Vol.3: Special Edition/+DVD

Radio 1's Live Lounge Vol.3: Special Edition/+DVD

Amazon don't let you review them, so here is the best place for me to review them.
When buying from Amazon, you are actually buying this from a Jersey Company "Indigostarfish". This album (labeled NEW) was not not plastic wrapped (as new discs should be) and the case was scratched and well used. The CDs themselves were in good condition.

As of the music itself, this is a good album worthy of 4 stars. (3stars from Amazon)
If you liked the other two live lounges, you must buy this. And, alternatively, if you like this, buy the other two albums.

A Piece Of What You Need

A Piece Of What You Need

This has managed to take TT's melancholic style and lyrics and wrap them up in a more layered and upbeat musical style. Definitely his best album so far! Seen him in concert and hopefully this will mean bigger venues and maybe he can lighten up a bit. Yes Teddy you are good so don't be so serious.

Hold Your Colour

Hold Your Colour

This is more of a warning than a review. Basically, every track on the album has two seconds of silence at the end, including the first track "Prelude" which should seamlessly merge into "Slam". Other than this one instance it isn't that annoying, but if that kind of thing would irritate you, you may be better off looking for the original version of the album, which was mixed properly: Hold Your Colour

If you are looking to put the album on a computer or portable media player (iPod, etc.) there are workarounds for this. Once you have bought and ripped the album to your computer, either download a replacement copy of "Prelude" from the original, or edit the track yourself using a program like Audacity. In terms of whether this album is better or worse than the original, the two new tracks are different, and it is personal preference as to whether you will like them more than the original tracks.

It is a shame that the album is faulty, because other than that it is a brilliant piece of work. Every track is filled with energy, and is beautifully crafted. Some particular highlights include "Slam", "Fasten Your Seatbelts", "Sounds of Life", "Hold Your Colour" and "Streamline". However, in my opinion at least, there is not a bad track on the entire album.

Amazing work (as always) Pendulum.
Let down by Breakbeat Kaos / Metropolis.

Noel

Noel

Josh Groban has an absolutely beautiful voice - a singer that steps on the line between baritone and tenor. It's quite an experience to listen to, and I got his album upon hearing great reviews from my friends who'd listened to him in America beforehand. Check him out, he is indeed very good. He has a very relaxing, lullaby-like tone - in a nutshell.

This is a compilation of Christmas songs, but, I (and hopefully, you) can listen to them any time of year - they're very relaxing. :)

Blue

Blue

I first heard the song Case of You in the film Practical Magic and thought how wonderful it was. I bought the film soundtrack (the whole music selection for the film was pretty good) and then i bought the album Blue to see what the rest of Jonis work was like.

I fell in love with the album so completely, that now i've moved to MP3 and sold 99% of my CD's i can't bear to part with this one. One of the others is Court & Spark.

The music is so simple, the strings, drums, and her voice- the most wonderful voice i have ever heard, conveying such emotion that the music and words combined make the whole album an amazing rollercoaster of feelings and thoughts.

I'd recommend to anyone who has ever felt any kind of emotion.

Don't by this each song reaches new lows in what can in the loosest possible terms be called music

Tha Carter III

Tha Carter III

The Carter 3 is a good album , but is Waynes weakest by far.
If you havnt heard the old Carters then i suggest that you listen to them before claiming C3 is Waynes greatest album.
Dont get me wrong C3 is still a top album ( 5 Stars ) but i think it is highly overated.
Most Recognisable Tracks include Lil Waynes hit Lollipop Ft Static Major.
A Millie
And Got Money Ft T-Pain
Artist such as Juelz Santana, Fabolous, Bobby Valentino and Jay-Z also feature among others.
I recomend this album to anyone but suggest that listeners also listen to Waynes early work Eg. The Carters 1 & 2 , 500 Degreez.
Also Waynes Mixtapes Eg. The Droughts , Dedications , The Leaks.
