I love this album and think it's very fun, quirky and different from anythin' else out at the moment. An impressive debut for such a young girl. My advice is don't judge this album too quickly. It's filled with many different styles of music from pure fun pop to sugary sweet mid tempo R&B ballads, dance, electronic, this album has it all! Fresh, creative, quirky, upbeat, fun and original is how I would describe it. A really good try and definitely worth a listen!
Favourite tracks include:
No Air (duet with Chris Brown)

One Step At A Time

Good work, Jordin! 5/5 ~ Claire Elise Archibald. xxx
One of the things which makes Charlie & Lola so good is the music in the episodes. This cd contains extended versions of that music - superbly arranged and wonderfully put together. Our daughter loves it, as do we! Don't be put off by the one star reviews - they are missing the point as it is the music, not the songs or lack of them, which this cd celebrates.
A predictable bunch of same sounding tracks from the ever narrowing scope of music that features in this dying magazine.
OK, critics will say this is another very regional accent sounding album, one of many artists like that at the moment (artic monkeys, reverand and the makers etc.) but saying that, this is a very good album for me. Nice easy listening, catchy without being nasty pop music. Dont expect anything too deep, but good iPod music, especially when the sun shines. Follows on nicely from the last album. It's on my playlist!
Look folks I was going to buy this out of pure nostalgia anyway - but I have to tell you this is just about as good as it gets - definitely his best ever studio recording. The voice is as good as ever, and no one ever ever could get the same sounds out of a guitar as he gets out of "Lucille". Every track a winner and what a band - featuring the incomparable Dr John on piano. The production is faultless. If you have any affection for the blues you simply have to buy this. Without question a 5 star item.
I brought this album in special edition and i must say it's the best slipknot album yet. songs like: sulphur, dead memories, butchers hook and psychosocial are the best to listen to and backed up by so many other cool tracks this album is a rare treat and the best album of 2008.
david bowie the legend my mam played me him when i was a kid loved him then and even more now so many classic here jean genie life on mars starman rebel rebel ashes to ashes lets dance etc david bowie the icon deffintely he was voted the most influiential artist of all timein guiness world records book!! he is cool but maybe thats a bit too much? my mam played me queen too who i love too freddie mercury surely one of the best rock singers and perfomer ever!! just like elvis presley he had the whole package but i think all three david bowie, freddie mercury, elvis presley are the whole package in my opinion!! buy this its fab
I am biased of course because I love James Taylor's voice...! but this is sublime for a christmas feel anytime of the year...even if,like me, you are not vaguely religious, all the songs just feel 'right'!
If you like Moore, then here is the latest to add to your collection. It's pretty formula stuff - great blues rock - some boogie, some a bit heavier, and of course wonderful long ballards with superb guitar wizardy, delivered only how Moore can.
I won't go through track for track, because if your a fan you will get the drift, this is simply more and more of what Gary does best. A couple of noticeable mentions though. How about the 10 minute long "I Love You More Than You'll ever Know" epic? Sheer class over and over again, and "Mojo Boogie" whioch is foot tapping stonkingly good and subtle tones of Quo! Another track has some welcome female backing vocals, which adds some extra to the album.
All in all another Moore classic if you like his stuff or trying him out -this album delivers.
This deluxe edition of Michael Jackson the king of pop has a lot more to it in terms of more songs that would have been found on the number ones best of like Dirty Diana whilst disc 3 has a number of classic rarities that have never been released before like can't get outta the rain a single b-side edit that has never been released before and boosted by the thriller megamix which may not be to eveybody elses tastes but atleast this has a lot more to it than the single disc version which i felt was lightweight in comparison to the deluxe box set edition of Michael Jackson the king of pop.
